Visit to Korostyshiv, due west of Kiev. Near Zhytomer, for those of you following on the map at home!

The weekend I picked to visit happened to be "Korostyshiv Days," dedicated to celebrating the towns founding. This was the view from Connie's balcony!

As an "eco" volunteer, Connie has written a grant for trash bins. She will conduct an education campaign, along with the town's chief garbage collector, to encourage people to use them.
